The Listen Inn is the storytelling branch of my work, which has taken me to schools, libraries, bookshops, museums, events, festivals, and most recently - online, including site-specific storytelling films.

With a characterful and expressive style, 'The Listen Inn' can bring to life stories new and old, for both adults and children & families.

I've spent a large part of 2020 making storytelling films for Hertfordshire Year of Culture and beyond on The Listen Inn's Youtube channel in lieu of live events.

An interactive zoom show was held of my Christmas show 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' for families at Christmas, and an online interactive storytelling of 'The Gingerbread Man' was enjoyed by all.

"We were very lucky to be able to watch it on zoom today. It was fun and interactive and Vickie Holden-Swinton from the Listen Inn was wonderful! My child really enjoyed it. We are so lucky to come across lovely teachers, actors and storytellers who bring education, fun and interaction into our children's lives"
