An adult storytelling evening, in partnership with Tales From the Hart, Davina Malcolm, The Miss Jones Jazz Band and Danyah Miller, inspired by Vickie’s home county of Hertfordshire. We had a brilliant audience, and fantastic feedback.
Vickie presented an interactive storytelling of this Beatrix Potter classic story specially for families, on Easter Saturday to a fun-loving audience eager to join in!
National Storytelling Week’s Zoom Story for children; an interactive online presentation of ‘The Little Red Hen’ story, enjoyed by children and families from 0 - 85yrs old!
"Wonderous stories and storytelling."
"A beautifully performed and put together evening."
"Really loved this tonight... Perfect blend of music and different stories... What a treat!"
This special Zoom event on April 9th - inspired by Lockdown hair - was a collaborative evening of hair-themed short stories presented by Vickie with featured storytellers Andy Copps, Minnie Wilkinson, Niall Moorjani and musician Timothy Hoad. It was throughly enjoyed by all, and we had glowing feedback! Thanks to everyone who came and supported the event.
Over Christmas, Vickie’s live show, The Elves and the Shoemaker, was brought to people over Zoom when our lovely Hertfordshire venue, Southern Maltings, closed due to government restrictions. A wonderful online audience sang along, joined in, did the actions, and generally made it a super special event! Here’s a ‘behind the scenes’ photo.
...and between Christmas and New Year, Vickie in collaboration with The Southern Maltings Arts Centre, presented family favourite ‘The Gingerbread Man’ online for children and families. Fun was had and gingerbread eaten!
